Choose Your Starter

To get started, choose a player by tapping on the ‘Choose Player’ button. You can choose any player from either team. If you’re playing football, you can choose an entire defense team.

Scoring

Every time your chosen player does something good, your score goes up. Every time your chosen player does something bad, your score goes down. Yes, you can go negative. Just play your way out of it! Check out the scoring pages for each individual sport for more details on which plays earn or lose you points.

Streaks

When your player does three positive things in a row, you’re on a Streak! The Streak Bonus will double all new scores for as long as the streak lasts. You’re streak will continue even if you change players. Your streak will and if your chosen player does something bad (fumbles, misses a field goal, fouls, etc.).

Changing Players

You can change players at any time, even after the ball is in play. Simply tap on the ‘Choose Player’ button to choose a new player.

Win Viggle Points

At the end of the game, you get Viggle points depending on how well you did and how many other users are in the game with you:

Single-player

(If you are not playing in a group and are not eligible for multiplayer points)

  • Score 200 or more: +100 Viggle points
  • Score 400 or more: +200 Viggle points
  • Score 600 or more: +300 Viggle points

Multiplayer

The number of Viggle points awarded in multiplayer games varies based on the number of users in your game:

10 Players

  • 1st Place: +1000
  • 2nd Place: +500
  • 3rd Place: +300
  • 4th Place: +200

8-9 Players

  • 1st Place: +1000
  • 2nd Place: +500
  • 3rd Place: +200

5-7 Players

  • 1st Place: +800
  • 2nd Place: +400

2-4 Players

  • 1st Place: +500

In the case of a tie, points for each place that is awarded Viggle points will be split among users that tied.

Note on scoring

This is a live game, with the event feed coming in real time. Sometimes, in the heat of this fast-paced game, the event feed may be inaccurate or incomplete.

While this can affect your score, everyone is playing from the same event feed, so it’s a level playing field. Viggle points will be awarded according to your final MyGuy score, based on the event feed as we received it, regardless of actual events on the field.
